It's time for tonight's Student Spotlight.
This time we're in Montana to meet the top graduate at Froid High School.
Here's Layne Johnson.
(Layne Johnson, Froid HS Senior) "It's such a small school that teachers have a lot of time with you - not many students so teachers have plenty of time to go around and talk to all different students, if you have an issue you go right to them. There's just not a whole lot going on all the time so there's plenty of time to get things done. I really like music, Mr. Harris is one of my favorite teachers, but I actually don't take many classes from the school - I take a lot online because I take AP classes and honor classes so I take them from a different place but I like history the best I think. I played a lot of sports in high school...football for two years and basketball all four years. I've been in explore America, youth ledge, and other clubs - I'm the student council president too. Next fall I'll be enrolling in the university system in Montana, I'll go to Bozeman and will have a tuition waiver there so it'll be free. I'm not sure what I want to do but hopefully I can decide in the next couple of years. I'm not so sure after that but hopefully I'll get it figured out."
Congratulations to Layne Johnson the valedictorian, and Dallas Reiland, the salutatorian at Froid High School.
A total of 8 seniors will be graduating on May 17th.
