Armed Robbery Suspect Released from Custody

Posted:

Bismarck police are looking for a man who robbed the Medicine Shoppe at knife point after releasing a suspect arrested earlier today.

Police say they didn't have enough evidence to connect the man with the robbery.

The suspect is described as 5'10" wearing a light colored sweatshirt, cap, sunglasses and mask.

He was last seen running westbound toward the 1000 block of north 12th Street.

Police received several calls around 10:15 this morning saying someone with a knife was threatening an employee.

Sgt. Buschena says the man fled on foot into a nearby apartment building.

Police found and arrested a suspect in the area after he left the apartment. He has since been released.

If you have any information on the case call Bismarck police at 223-1212 or 224-TIPS
