Student Spotlight --- Ray

Posted: Updated:

In tonight's Student Spotlight, we travel to Ray to meet the valedictorian at Ray High School, Taylor Nelson.

(Taylor Nelson, Ray High School Senior) "I think I've succeeded because of all the extra help in a small school, the smallness definitely helps. You just get a lot of extra help when there's not that many kids. One of my favorite subjects is math - I tend to do well in that subject. I've been involved in volleyball, basketball, student council, FBLA, pretty much...I don't know there's a lot! I plan to attend Williston State College next year and I'll be playing volleyball there as well. My long term plans, I don't know what I want to do yet so I'm going to hopefully go there and figure out what I would like to do with my life but for right now I'm not sure. I've kind of looked into teaching, counseling, something like that."

Congratulations to Taylor Nelson, who finished high school with a 4-point-0 GPA at Ray High School.

Here are the honor graduates at Ray.

A total of 20 seniors will get their diplomas on May 25th.
