Student Spotlight --- Watford City

Posted: Updated:

Our Student Spotlight shines on Watford City tonight where three students have tied for the top graduate honors.

Here are Mitchell Liebel, Jeanna Zenz, and Tori Williams.

(Mitchell Liebel, Watford City Senior) "It's been nice, the teachers work with you really well. I missed quite a bit of school in my days for sports and what-not and they always helped me out when I needed it for lesson I'd missed and always encouraged me to get the work in with the sports and everything I've done."

(Tori Williams, Watford City Senior) "My favorite are probably math and computer courses. My favorite teacher at the school is probably Mrs. Flatland, she teaches the computer courses here."

(Jeanna Zenz, Watford City Senior) "I've been involved in choir, drama, basketball, volleyball, student council, National Honor Society...a lot of stuff."

(Mitchell Liebel, Watford City Senior) "I plan on going to UND and I'm going to major in physical therapy and hopefully move back to Watford someday and be a physical therapist."

(Tori Williams, Watford City Senior) "I plan on attending the University of North Dakota and studying forensic and computer science and hope to become a lab tech or a forensic computer analyst at some point in the future."

(Jeanna Zenz, Watford City Senior) "I plan to attend Minnesota State University Moorhead for theater arts and history education. I plan on acting for the first couple of years and if that doesn't work out maybe teach high school history."

Congratulations to these honor graduates at Watford City High School - and to all 55 seniors who will be getting their diplomas at Watford City on May 25th.
