Last week in Surrey some breaks in the water line caused the State Health Department to issue a boil warning for the area.
Today that boil alert has been lifted.
Because water levels became so low, the city feared organisms could potentially find their way into the water, but so far no one has been affected.
Surrey recently passed a bond that would improve their water storage, and for some that can't come soon enough.
(Jason Vaagen, City Administrator) "Once we get the new tower it will give us a lot more storage capacity, which means we shouldn't see these big fluctuations that we do now."
Just last week the city was operating at zero capacity, and has now regained their initial pressure.
