Eight Minot establishments served alcohol to minors in a sting arranged by the Minot Police in late May.
Police officials report they conducted compliance checks on 28 establishments and eight served beer, wine, or liquor to a volunteer who was under the legal drinking age.
Workers in six of the eight businesses had checked the ID of the under age volunteer, but served the individual anyway.
Those six workers face charges, while the eight establishments face administrative sanctions.
Minot Police report the following eight businesses failed the compliance checks:
Ruby Tuesday, Spicy Pie, Trappers Lounge, Badlands, Buffalo Wings and Rings, Sidekicks, Montana Mike’s Steakhouse, and Pizza Hut – Dakota Square.
Police say the following businesses were in compliance:
International Inn, Sevens, Blue Rider, Off the Vine, Dakota Lounge, Lamplighter, Walmart, Marketplace Liquor – 16th Ave SW, Roosters, Starlite, Ice Box, Paradiso, Little Blue Elephant, Sakura, Cashwise Liquor, Mi Mexico, Marketplace Liquor – Dakota Square, Holiday Inn - Riverside, Ben’s Tavern, Sammy’s Pizza.
Minot Police say Zofia Kristal Pepple of New Town was struck by a pickup and killed about 6:25pm Sunday
A two-year-old child was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Minot Sunday evening.

In addition, both had recently been released from state prison.
