Williston Job Fair

Posted: Updated:

The job market in Williston has never slowed down --- and according to Williston Job Service spokesperson Cindy Sanford, companies are picking up the pace and adding positions for the summer.

There are more than 26-hundred job openings in Williams County according to Job Service-North Dakota numbers released today.

With that many jobs available, a career fair in Williston focused on specific needs of the oil and gas industry.

All applicants were required to have at least two years of industry experience so that employers could work on filling advanced positions.

(Tonya Zipperian, Expo Experts LLC) "This is a hard market. People are already out there in the field working and it's hard for these companies to get the experienced candidates that they need."

The Job Service-North Dakota numbers show 27,128 available jobs in the state.
