Business Beat 6-5-14

Posted: Updated:

JL Beers will call southwest Minot home -- in this location -- at 2001 22nd Ave. SW. The land sale was completed last week -- and the hope is to be building here just to the west of Kohl's within the next few weeks. Construction time is estimated at about 100 days, meaning JL Beers is shooting for an opening this fall.

Sticking with the food theme...this construction to the north of Home Depot will be a third McDonalds location in Minot. Construction has kicked into gear and the new golden arches should be ready to serve customers late summer or early fall.

Finally, a move of a business -- Total Transformation Clinic that had been located on Burdick Expressway across from the Zoo has moved to the old Bremer Insurance location at 317 16th Street NW. A new building, new look, and new offerings as well including weight loss help.

With Business Beat, I'm Perry Olson.
