Man Charged With Mandan Murder Pleads Not Guilty

The man accused of shooting and killing a Mandan man in his home pleaded not guilty in court Monday.
Jonathan McKinney is charged with murder and tampering with evidence.
Prosecutors say he killed Alex Lansdon at his trailer in January.
According to police reports Lansdon was shot multiple times with a rifle.
His body was moved and then shot again after he was already dead.
At the same hearing, a man charged as an accomplice to the murder also pleaded not guilty to counts of tampering with evidence.
Warren Pfetzer is also charged with conspiracy and terrorizing.
The trial date for both men is set for October 28 in Mandan.
The maximum sentence for murder is life in prison without parole.
