A mini crime spree in Bismarck targets fishing equipment.
Since May 1st five Bismarck residents reported having fishing rods and tackle stolen out of their boats.
The boats have been parked at homes and some have been covered with tarps.
Three of the victims reported having six rods and reels stolen. The other two reported having two stolen.
The most recent incident listed the value of the fishing equipment stolen at about two thousand dollars.
A spokesperson for the Bismarck Police Department says the incidents are under investigation.
He says at this point they haven't found any of the missing fishing gear.
