Strange day court in Christopher Vick Trial

Bismarck, ND - Unusual fireworks in a Burleigh County courtroom today.
Christopher Vick, charged with murdering his mother, Alice Vick on May 30th of 2013 was in court today.
Vick and his defense attorney said they were not however ready to proceed with trial.

Vick complained to Judge Bruce Romanick that he has not had enough time to view the 20 plus disks of video discovery evidence.
Judge Romanick says he'd work to allow Vick easier access to the videos.
Romanick wants Vick to watch the disks as soon as possible, to move the trial forward in a speedy manner.  
Vick also argued that he's having trouble getting his defense attorney to do what he wants.
Judge Romanick told Vick he needs to decide if he can work with his attorney or if he needs a new attorney moving forward.

Vick's mother Alice was killed in her home May 30th of 2013.
She died of blunt force trauma to the head.
Vick is currently serving a 20 year sentence for attempted murder and felonious restraint in an attack against his brother's girlfriend the same night as the murder of his mother.
Vick has a lengthy criminal history.
