But don't let the name fool you...it's not just a breakfast destination.
It's a locally owned bakery, cafe, and deli.
Aside from offering fresh baked bagels daily, they offer 16 different flavors of cream cheese, muffins, coffee, and breakfast and deli sandwiches.
Owner Essie Wright says the community has responded excitedly in just their first week of business.
"We've needed a bagel franchise in town and each day the business has been growing. We've had positive comments and I think they really like the place," says Essie Wright, Owner, Big Apple Bagels.
This week, Big Apple Bagels is donating two dollars to the Children's Advocacy Center for every dozen bagels sold.
Activity continues at Bismarck State College as construction is underway for a Communications and Creative Arts Center.
This 13.6 million dollar project broke ground two weeks ago and will bring together library operations, visual arts programs, and communication programs on campus.
"They won't have to travel as far to their classes. You know, we're able to bring our faculty together in a closer proximity to each other," says Dave Clark, Interim President, BSC.
Clark says they're looking at a 13 to 14 month construction schedule.
The facility is set to be open by fall of 2015.
Fiancee, known for being a seasonal prom store, now sells bridal gowns.
They made the switch to a full service bridal and prom shop the beginning of this month.
Brides-to-be can make an appointment for the royal treatment.
Fiancee will close exclusively for that bride and her guests for two hours.
"They get served mimosas or wine and we wait on them hand and foot and it's all about the experience rather than being interrupted by the doorbell ringing. It's that experience that the bride's really been looking forward to her whole life," says Kinzey Whitty, Manager, Fiancee.
During prom season, Fiancee will strictly sell only prom dresses.
