Father's Day at the Zoo

Posted: Updated:

Today, families across the country gave a special thanks to their dads for Father's Day.

In Minot, Roosevelt Park Zoo showed their appreciation for fathers by giving them a free pass into the zoo to

spend time with loved ones and enjoy the animals.

The zoo was filled with sons and daughters of every age spending time with dad.

One coordinator says that it's an important day to make memories, and this is their way of doing just that for families.

(Renee Escherich, Education Coordinator at Roosevelt Zoo) "You always have special memories and Roosevelt Park Zoo is a good place to build those memories, and just add one more on top of the others."

The zoo is open every day through August from 10 am to 8 pm.
