Man Pleads Not Guilty to Entering Bank and Demanding Money

TRANSCRIPT

A man arrested for entering Dakota Community Bank and demanding money pleads not guilty in Federal Court.

On May 6th Sean Nichols was located by police where he confessed to the offense.

Nichols also indicated to police that he owed money for meth.

Nichols has a prior criminal record.

He was convicted of burglary in Arizona in 2003... and had two separate robbery convictions in Arizona in 2004.

He was also sentenced for a misdemeanor in April 2014.

Nichols faces maximum penalties of up to 20 years in prison and 3 years supervision after release.

His trial is set for August 19th.
