Area police were led on another high-speed chase.
The third within the last week.
Last night at about 1:00 a.m. Mandan police received a report about a fight.
When they responded they saw a vehicle leaving the scene.
A report from the police department says they later pulled the vehicle over for a traffic stop, but when the officer walked up to the car, it took off.
Police chased the car on East Main Street, then onto Memorial Highway.
The statement from police says they ended the chase because the high speeds were creating a dangerous situation.
The driver of the fleeing car, however, continued on to Memorial Bridge where he hit another car.
Mandan police arrested him after the crash.
No one was hurt.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol assisted in the investigation of the crash.
Police arrested the man for a long list of crimes including drug possession, fleeing, reckless driving and for not having a driver's license.
Charges are pending.
Late last week a motorcyclist led police on a chase on I-94, and this past weekend another chase occurred in Mandan.
