A 23-year-old is dead and a 20-year-old injured after a rollover crash in Stark County this weekend.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol states that 23-year-old Dillon Welch of Montana was fatally injured after driving too fast on a county gravel road two miles east of Gladstone after midnight on Saturday.
The Patrol says Welch lost control while driving on a curve, and rolled his vehicle two and a half times.
Both he and his passenger were ejected.
20-year-old Jason Mitchel was injured and taken to a Dickinson hospital.
Welch was transported to a Bismarck hospital where he died from his injuries.
Authorities say alcohol and speed were factors in the crash.
