No One Injured After Train Hits Vehicle

Posted: Updated:

No one is injured after a train hits a vehicle parked on the tracks, around two miles east of Hebron.

A 69-year-old Hebron resident stopped her SUV on the railroad tracks because she couldn't see due to dust from a vehicle in front of her.

According to the Highway Patrol, Dorothy Feist of Hebron parked her Ford Edge on the crossing around 2:06 Tuesday afternoon.

The crossing was marked.

BNSF train personnel report that the engine's horn was sounded to warn the driver.

The train hit the rear passenger side and the vehicle was pushed into the ditch.

Again, no one was injured in this crash.
