McQuade Wrap Up

Posted: Updated:
And after a long day of nothing but rain and finding out a card draw or coin flip would decide their fate yesterday, the teams that did get lucky woke up this morning to a blue sky full of sunshine for the final day of the McQuades Tournament.
And despite not getting in a game yesterday, Tom Beckstead and his team,Ho Bar from Grand Forks, still had a great time.

"It was nice to be able to actually play you know it was a rough go for some teams, we could have just as well came here for two days and not played any games, but we had fun we kind of went back and forth from the field to the hotel um, good group of guys love coming out here playing softball, great place to come have fun."

And the teams were still able to earn their way to the championship game, playing a quarterfinal and semifinal game before battling to take home some hardware.
One other piece of exciting news, the Bismarck community raised 20,000 dollars in ten minutes to bring the Wounded Warriors back for the 2015 Tournament.
