FAIRFAX, Va., June 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SRA International, Inc., a leading provider of IT solutions and professional services to government organizations, today announced the General Services Administration's (GSA) Federal Acquisition Services (FAS) has awarded to SRA a contract to provide the full spectrum of communications and information technology support to United States European Command (USEUCOM), United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM), 5th Signal Command (5SC) and their associated staff elements and organizations. The funded contract has a total value of $350 million over five years, if all options are exercised. Both USEUCOM and USAFRICOM are headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany where the project will be based.

Under the task order, SRA will provide communications and IT services to support the operational missions of USEUCOM, USAFRICOM, 5SC, including the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa. USEUCOM and USAFRICOM are two of the United States military's nine combatant commands responsible for all U.S. Department of Defense operations, exercises, and security cooperation across Europe and Africa.

SRA will provide devices, hardware, software, and network IT and communications support services for the continued enhancement, operation, maintenance and life cycle support for networks, office automation, communications, and software and systems applications supporting command, control, communication and computer (C4) systems.
