City Leader Invites Residents to Have "Coffee with the Mayor"

Posted: Updated:

Bismarck Mayor Mike Seminary will hold his first "Coffee with the Mayor" Tuesday morning.

Seminary, who took office last Tuesday, says he's holding these meetings to better connect with residents.

He says the idea originated from his father, who he says always wanted to sit with people and talk over a cup of joe.

In addition to talking about his vision for the City moving forward, he expects to talk about safety, growth management and how the city will pay for future projects.

"I want to have an opportunity to meet with people, get to know know them, let them get to know me, but then really talk about stuff that is important to them," says Bismarck Mayor Mike Seminary.

The event begins 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Peacock Alley in Downtown Bismarck.
