Announcing the Lantana Academy, formerly known as CDA Academy. The name change reflects the expanding curriculum that includes Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) and the quality reporting standards Quality Reporting Document Architecture (QRDA), Health Quality Measure Format (HQMF), and Quality Data Model (QDM). These standards were added to the core Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) and Consolidated CDA (C-CDA) syllabus. Lantana Academy offers this expanded curriculum in the same hands-on, immersive format as the original CDA Academy.
The curriculum has grown along with the industry and Meaningful Use. The new name, Lantana Academy, reflects all the expertise we can share with our students, says Lantana Academy Director, Emilie Kralicek.
Two Lantana Academy workshops will take place August 11-13 in Annapolis, Maryland. Implementation of Continuity of Care Standards is a three-day workshop that covers CDA, Consolidated CDA (C-CDA), Continuity of Care Document (CCD), and FHIR. Implementation of Quality Standards is a two-day workshop (August 12-13) that covers QRDA, HQMF, and QDM.
CDA Academy was a fun event with an intensive learning environment, and Lantana Academy will continue the Lantana mission of have fun, make money, and improve the industry.
