The Fourth of July can be a scary time for many animals afraid of fireworks.
But, some pet owners are buying a new article of clothing to soothe their pets.
Bismarck PetSmart Manager Sarah Greff says the store sells a lot of ThunderShirts this time of year.
The shirts give pets a "hug" to calm them down when they are anxious.
"It's basically a constant pressure that is supplied to the dog's torso and just helps to calm them down a little bit," says BismarckPetSmartt Manager Sarah Greff.
Greff says her dog Zoey wears a ThunderShirt to calm her anxiety.
