Business Beat 7-3-14

Posted: Updated:

This land to the east of Harley's just south of Oak Park currently sits open -- but developers are in the process of changing that. The planning commission has given the go-ahead for a project known now as West Oaks Development that would bring a proposed health spa, coffee shop, and deli to this location. The plan passed recently without objection.

What's going up here -- east of CashWise Foods? That is a new Wells Fargo bank location that has started its build up now. Wells Fargo will close its location to the north on 16th and should have this site open later in 2014.

Lots of new food options coming to Williston -- starting with this, Smiling Moose Rocky Mountain Deli. It will be a third location in the state -- the other two are in Fargo. Smiling Moose is based in Colorado and should open in Williston in August. Culver's is set to open in November in Williston near the Sand Creek Town Centre. It will be a fourth location in the state for the midwest based brand. Finally, Qdoba Mexican Grill is set to open in the same strip mall as Smiling Moose -- Plaza 26 this fall.

With Business Beat, I'm Perry Olson.
