Hazen Grain Bins Down After Storm

Posted: Updated:

The storm continued its path, hitting several towns along Highway 200.

Strong winds left their mark on Hazen.

Mercer County Emergency Manager Carmen Reed says it was mostly the southwest part of town that got hit.

There were several reports of trees split in half.

Two grain bins and a utility pole were also down.

MDU says the power went out in Hazen for a little less than three hours.

There were also reports of golf ball sized hail in Beulah as well as 60 to 70 mile per hour winds.
