Strides Diabetes Walk

Posted: Updated:

The Glenburn Lions Club is taking its first ever "Strides" Walk next week, to raise awareness about those who have been touched by Diabetes.

The walk will be a 2 mile stretch with refreshments at the end, and everyone is encouraged to sign up.

(Ginney Jones and Kathryn Palm, Members of Glenburn Lions Club) "We are going to have some folks out there from Trinity Health too, that are going to answer questions and be informative on that level, as far as the Diabetes, and it's just a good cause."

"And it's just another good reason for the community to come out, it's beautiful weather, our summers are short, it's great for the community, friends, and family."

It will be held at the park in Glenburn on Saturday, July 12 at 9 am.

To register for the event, you can visit the Glenburn Lions Club on Facebook, or register in Glenburn on the day of the walk.
