Urban Harvest Starts in Downtown

Posted: Updated:
A summertime favorite arrives in downtown Bismarck.

This is Urban Harvest on 4th and Broadway.\
Every Thursday the event brings food, jewelry, art and entertainment to the streets of downtown.
Nearly 5000 people will visit Urban Harvest throughout the 6 weeks.

(Eloi Cyril / Urban Harvest Director) "Some of them are the same people some are different. IT always varies, different vendors are not always here at the same time, some are. So it's pretty interesting to see who is down here and who is performing."

Norm's Eatery has been cooking at Urban Harvest for the past 4 years.
Every Thursday Norm is busy cooking up roughly 400 hamburgers and lots of sausage on a bun.

(Norm Stetson / Norm's Eatery) "It's real relaxing. They have great music down here. Instead of being hectic, and being at othergrilling'ss that are really large, you can kinda relax and still sell food, but you can take it easy too and enjoy the music."

Urban Harvest is celebrating it's 10th year.
The event runs 10-8 every Thursday in downtown Bismarck through August 14th.
