The Taube Museum in Minot will have over 200 special pieces of art work for sale this coming Monday and Tuesday.
The collection belonged to long standing Minot art supporter Arlene Saugstad who passed away March 16th.
Her family has chosen to make the pieces available through a public silent auction.
For those who knew Arlene, and want to continue her work, this is a chance to preserve her legacy.
(Nancy Walter, Taube Museum) "The family is looking at it as a remembrance of Arlene, something, a little piece of here to take home, and keep her near to your heart. She touched so many lives in this community. When you say Arlene, people knew who you were talking about."
The event will run from 10:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., both days.
There is also a food and wine, "Remember Arlene" reception, Tuesday night from 6 to 8 p.m.
