A home south east of Bismarck is a total loss after going up in flames.
Multiple units including the Rural Fire Department and the Sheriff's Department responded to the blaze.
It happened at 1998 66th Street South East around 7:30pm.
The Sheriff's department says the family got out safely, but one of their pets was killed in the fire.
The other 3 were able to get out.
The Sheriff's department says the home looks to be a total loss, but that the garage is still standing.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
