Mosquito Spraying Resumes

Posted: Updated:

Mosquito spraying resumes this week in Minot - in advance of the North Dakota State Fair.

The Air Force Reserve from Youngstown, Ohio will be back in the sky over Minot, spraying to control the mosquito population.

The C-130 aircraft will be making very low altitude passes over the city, spraying the chemical Naled.

Officials say Naled is not a health threat to humans or pets, but is toxic to insects including honeybees.
