JACKSONVILLE, Fla., July 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Peterbrooke Chocolatier gives back this summer by launching their new philanthropic program, Peterbrooke Promise. Peterbrooke Promise is the company's commitment to give back a portion of their proceeds to make a difference in the lives of others both locally and globally. Peterbrooke Promise stands for community, sustainability and corporate responsibility.

Peterbrooke Chocolatier. Your Neighborhood Chocolatier!

Peterbrooke Chocolatier will launch their first campaign in July 2014 to live up to their promise in all 24 chocolate shops across the Southeastern United States. Peterbrooke will kick off the program July 28th- August 3rd to raise funds for charities that represent the spirit of Peterbrooke Promise goals. During this week customers will receive 15% percent off their purchase of select items and Peterbrooke will donate a matching contribution of 15% to a local charity.

As Peterbrooke expands, they always want to maintain their local feel and neighborhood values. Andy Stenson, VP of Marketing for Peterbrooke explains, "Peterbrooke Promise is an important new initiative for Peterbrooke to give back on multiple levels. We know Peterbrooke Promise will inspire our stores and customers to give back to their communities."

Come in any Peterbrooke Chocolatier location during the week of July 28th- August 3rd to help make this summer sweet!

Peterbrooke Chocolatier was founded in 1983 and their mission was to bring back the art of European chocolate making and translate it into what they called, "Your Neighborhood Chocolatier." The first shop was opened in the historic Jacksonville neighborhood of San Marco, and 31 years later they have over 24 locations throughout the Southeast.
