Mandan Man Charged in Connection to Fight and Robbery Outside of Bismarck Walmart

Posted: Updated:

A 26-year-old Mandan man is charged with robbery in connection to a fight outside of south Walmart in Bismarck.

An affidavit say Dorvon McKay and Amanda Luedtke pushed a cart with over $300 dollars in merchandise outside of the store without paying for it.

As two loss prevention officers approached them outside the store, McKay punched one of them.

One officer chased McKay and caught up with him.

McKay allegedly punched him several times again with a car key sticking out from his knuckles.

The loss prevention officer suffered a puncture wound near his collarbone.

McKay fled the scene and was arrested yesterday in Mandan.

Luedtke was charged Wednesday with robbery and is being held on $5,000 bond.
