Around Town 7-18

Posted: Updated:

Most people are excited to hear of new retail stores coming to the area.

And it looks like there will be a few more.

It will be located on the East end of Memorial Highway, a busy area connecting both Bismarck and Mandan.

Vice President of Daniel Companies Kyle Holwagner says this building will consist of over 30,000 square feet of retail space complete with drive-thru capabilities.

He says phase one will be complete in early 2015 with the entire project finished later that year.

Across town on the Northwest side of Mandan is Legacy Law Firm.

Open since July 1st, they're a newly formed law practice providing legal service to the area and surrounding communities.

Partners Andrew Weiss and Dan Anderson focus on property issues, oil and gas, estate planning, wills, and criminal and family law.

"Our smaller size allows us to deliver a more personal service to our clients and our different backgrounds allow us to provide a variety of services. Dan dealing more with real estate issues and myself dealing more with court issues - family law, criminal law, that sort of thing," says Andrew Weiss, Attorney.

Speaking of new businesses and of course North Dakota's booming economy...

We need workers to keep the operations going.

That's where Labor Max is looking to help out.

It's a first class staffing company located in Bismarck on North 24th Street.

They hire for part-time, full-time and temporary to permanent positions for employers and other clients in a wide variety of industries.

"I think, especially in Bismarck because of how many employers are in need of good solid workers. I think that the staffing industry is going to be something that's booming for many years to come," says Mary Wolf, Branch Manager.

Wolf says Bismarck is Labor Max's first location in North Dakota.

She says eventually they will be in several locations across the entire state.
