The State Fair brings people back year after year with attractions like the 4-H and FFA entries - more than 40-thousand of them - and the big name entertainment - such as Lady Antebellum - the group playing tonight at the grandstand.
But it also attracts new people every year.
It's the same for us at KX News - each year we have a new person or two to introduce to the fair.
Such as...Bonnie Campo, who went out to the Fair for her first time today.
Don't we all wish we could be a four-year old going to our first North Dakota State Fair, well I did. I wanted to smell, see and taste everything because it was brand new to me too.
As I heard Ethan laughing, I remembered how exciting it was to go really high, run very fast, and explore all of the things in front of me.
We squeaked and squealed all around the rides, and then we decided to try our luck out on a game.
I felt like a winner just standing next to this little boy. His eyes were beaming along with his curious smile. Then I realized mine were too, and as many of you know there is only one way to end that kind of a day, by eating whatever you want for supper. Our choice was cotton candy. At the best place in the world, Bonnie Campo KX News.
