Around Town 7-25

Posted: Updated:

Dirt is being moved just North of Furniture Row in North Bismarck.

A new car dealership has called shotgun next to Highway 83 on 57th Avenue.

57th Avenue will be the location for his new Honda, Nissan, andVolkswagenn stores.

The three brands will each have their own separate facility with Honda being 24,000 square feet, Nissan 15,000 square feet, andVolkswagenn 12,000 square feet.

"Really lets us focus on each individual customer. Where we're at right now, we've just outgrown it probably two or three years ago pretty easily so, being able to focus on each brand and each customer is just going to be really helpful for us," says Chris Schneider, General Manager/Partner.

And that's just phase one.

Kupper says phase two will be a four to six bay quick lube.

"I think it's going to be a great opportunity. North Bismarck is where it's happening and I think it's going to be a great opportunity just for us to probably do about 50 percent more business than we're doing now at the Bismarck store," says Bob Kupper, Owner.

Kupper says they hope to have the entire project complete by June 1st of next year.

Dream Girls Boutique opened in the Gateway Mall on July 8.

They offer trendy clothing for women and children.

Owner Nicole Silva says they also carry plus sizes and a variety of accessories.

"I'm trying to stay as up-to-date on fashion as I can and once I order it once and it's gone, I won't order it again. So it'll constantly be new things coming in," says Nicole Silva, Owner.

Dream Girls is open Tuesday through Friday 10 to 6 and Saturdays 11 to 3.

What was known for many years as Rolling Cappuccino on Main Street is now under new ownership and is called Brewed Awakenings.

You can still get all your favorite coffee drinks, frappes, lattes, soups, and sandwiches.

They even sell yoguccino - a blended drink made with yogurt.

There will be a formal ground breaking on August 14 for the new car dealerships.

Bob Kupper also says Honda will remain at its current facility and they may possible remodel that location in the next few years.
