Wildlife Division Chief to Retire

Posted: Updated:

The North Dakota Game and Fish will soon say goodbye to a longtime employee.

Randy Kreil has worked for Game and Fish for 29 years and has been the wildlife division chief for 20 years.

He's been in charge of biological surveys, managing the statewide system of wildlife management, and overseeing the private land open to sportsmen program.

Kreil is excited to actually take part in hunting season this year.

"It's going to be hard to leave these people that I work with every day and the sportsmen and landowners that I get to work with every day. But we won't be far away and will still be involved in conservation efforts in the state," says Randy Kreil, Wildlife Division Chief.

Kreil says his last day in the office will be August 29.
