Menards looks to be finalizing plans to bring a sight like this to Williston soon. Construction should soon start on a more than 209-thousand square foot facility to be located in west Williston in the Sand Creek Town Centre. The approval process through the city is happening now and dirt could be moving this summer still at the site. Williston officials say they hope Menards moving forward now leads to even more businesses in the area opening up.
On North Hill in Minot today, a celebration at the site of what will soon be the third First International Bank location. Officials hope to open the new branch in February of next year here at 2150 21st Ave. North. It will be a full service bank with consumer and commercial lending, mortgage, insurance and trust. Here is what it should look like when complete.
Finally in south Minot, a new treatment facility with an eye on treatment not necessarily with medication...Minot native Stephanie Nishek has opened Aurora Naturopathic Center here on 31st Ave. SW. Naturopathic medicine goes deeper than medicine according to Nishek.
Looking at other forms of treatment like supplements and lifestyle changes. Naturopathic medicine is now licensed in the state of North Dakota and Dr. Nishek sees patients of all ages...treating them how many actually prefer to be treated.
(Stephanie Nishek, N.D. - Naturopathic Medicine Doctor) "Definitely do a lot of changes to diet, lifestyle, sometimes we do supplementation but it is very individualized based on the patient."
