Minot's Roosevelt Park is known for its walking trails, zoo a large swimming pool, but after the Minot Forestry Department completes two of their latest projects it will be the destination for even more activities.
(Colette Arneson, Assistant City Forester) "The entrance to the zoo and to the park is going to have a large pond area, with two fountains, a waterfall, completely landscaped with shrubs and flowers and grasses all around it."
If you think that sounds good it's not even the half of it.
Once you get inside Roosevelt Park, there is even more to explore.
(Colette Arneson, Assistant City Forester) "They'll see this two tier wall and the patio's and the pergola, and the flowers and the trees."
They plan to have all the new flowers and shrubbery planted by next spring.
