Century High Reloading at Wide Receiver

Posted: Updated:
Across town Century high school is also getting ready to go for the 2014 season...
Patriots fans will be hearing a lot of new names over the P.A. System come game time.

Century will be a completely different team than last year's semi-finalist.
Losing 32 players from last year's roster would be more of a problem if Dalton Feeney wasn't getting back behind center.
The Patriot's heralded receiving core has taken a hit so who Feeney will throw the ball to is the question.
Regardless of the big name wide outs Century has lost head coach Ron Wingenbach is confident with the players filling up those holes.

"Well we lost quite a few top notch receivers last year with Tyler Rudolph and Landon Joachim... and several others. So it's time for those other guys that have been kind of waiting in the wings to get an opportunity to go out there on the field. We feel very strong about our receiving core."

A big part the Patriot's aerial attack may lay in the hands of Cyril Nagurski-- literally.
Playing primarily on the defensive side of the ball this will be a change for Nagurski.
Hoping to continue his career beyond high school, his hands will be put to the test.

"Looking at last year I played a little bit of receiver. I didn't play to much mainly returned punts and free safety so I knew that was going to happen and I knew that football is a big goal for me to get to Minnesota just because of family and my grandfather going there. So this summer I did everything I could."
