We continue football previews of area teams and today we head north to Bottineau to visit the Braves.
Bottineau has added some size to its roster this year but also will be younger than last season. With the returning experience of the secondary and off season workouts this summer the Braves feel they're right where they want to be.
Rob Bedlion, Braves Football Coach:"What has helped us this summer was the participation. We had some guys that went to camp and got their feet wet we had some guys that were inexperienced it was really good to get out and learn some things right away i think these first 3 days have looked good. That look comfortable the offense is coming pretty fast so we are excited on where we are at right now."
Ethan Kerslake, Senior:"I think we will do better than how we did last year. WE have a bit more size up front and more experience. I think we will be smoother and quicker this year. We have our safety back and a couple of corners so we should be all right there this year too."
Alex Briston, Senior:"We have a lot of quick guys this year they are tough and have been hitting the weights this summer. They learn fast they still have a little ways to go but they should be ready by the fist game."
The Braves open up play on the 26th in North Prairie
