This afternoon the Taube Museum of Art accepted a $3,000 donation from the Hess Corporation for their annual Artfest which runs October 17 and 18 on the North Dakota State Fairgrounds.
The contribution will go toward the second day of the Artfest, making free entry possible for all who attend that Saturday.
Aside from all the shopping possible, Margaret Lee says one highlight of the day will be the children's art project they have planned.
(Margaret Lee, Taube Museum Education Coordinator) "And Saturday is going to be a special, special day because it's going to be paint the town green day at Hess. And the best part of it is that it is going to be free to the community. So people can come in - it's also family day - they can bring their children. There will be art projects for all children to do. Also lots of art vendors, so while the parents are shopping the children could be creating great art as well."
The Taube Museum's Artfest will charge twenty five dollars admission for the premiere night, which is open only for those twenty one and over.
