The fall football season not only means a new season for the Harvey hornets but a new head coach as well. Bret Dockter will take over the reigns from Brad Sandy who resigned after last season.
The transition to head coach should be a fairly smooth one for Dockter who has been a part of the program for 17 years. Dockter says the team is looking for plenty of improvement over last year and has the players in place to help the team be more successful.
Carson Koble, Senior:Brand new offense with a lot more QB scrambling so we have parker coming out of the pocket and throwing on the run. and we have lot of guys to substitute in when the 4th quarter comes around and the other guys are starting to get tired i think we can step up and have enough guys to come in and make a play.
Shaun Kourigian, Senior:We are finally starting to come along right away was a struggle with the new offense but we are starting to get the hang of things and fixing out the bugs, and if we keep working hard we will be though to beat."
The Hornets open their season next Friday when they host Carrington.
