Optimum Oils, a leading strategic partner for Q8Oils, has appointed Tom Stoker as its business development manager for the London area working with Optimum Oils major bus and coach operator customers in the greater London area.

Leeds, UK (PRWEB UK) 28 August 2014

The appointment is extremely convenient for both companies as Tom worked for Q8Oils in Leeds for six years from 2004. Starting in Customer Service, he worked closely with Q8Oils national distributors, including Optimum Oils and its management team. He was also involved with local sales in Leeds focusing on account management and new business. Other responsibilities included bulk and packed distribution, transport contracts and delivery reporting.

After graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University with a Degree in Business and Management Studies, Tom left Q8Oils in 2010 to work as a Business Development Manager for a chemical distribution company looking after the supply side of the business.

In April this year Tom was approached by Optimum with the offer of a business development role in its bus and coach business in London working with major operators, building relationships with store managers and engineering managers.

Says Optimum managing director Cliff Thrussell: We are enjoying significant growth in the bus and coach sector so Toms appointment is an investment in the future of our company in London and the surrounding areas.
