Kat Perkins Concert

Kat Perkins Concert

Posted: Updated:

The baseball season has wrapped up for Ardean Aafedt Stadium in Williston, but the crowds will still be filling the stands.

Williston Boys Baseball will be hosing an end-of-summer concert tonight featuring Kat Perkins, a North Dakota native and a top five contender on The Voice.

All proceeds from the event will help fund the baseball program.

Kat Perkins will take the stage at 9 p.m. but the fun started at 5:00 with a free will donation dinner of burgers and brats.

Ticket sales have picked up as the event drew closer but there is still room available.

Committee member Jeff Larson says that Williston has always been a generous community - a trend that continued for the concert.

(Jeff Larson, Williston Boys Baseball Committee Member) "The Williston CVB was a major sponsor in this concert for us and they were able to donate all the money that we needed for expenses and getting Kat here so anything we make from ticket sales is profit for us."

They're done playing baseball on the diamond until next spring so he's encouraging everyone to bring lawn chairs to enjoy the concert on the field.
