Marilyn, please don't take my comment as an attack on you. I just don't like terms like "Cop Killers" especially when employed in a way that demonizes them. The 5.7 FN (really just a glorified 22) is a personal defense weapon, and when compared to larger calibers does much less damage than any number of larger rounds.

Even in solitary I don't think he lasts long. I bet he takes his life or a guard does.

I wanna know what he was telling his patients. If anyone was deserved of torture this man does. Reply...

Curly, maybe the military will change their rules now and have armed guards at these places. Don't worry, I doubt this man will live to be an old person in prison...unless he's kept in solitary forever. Reply...

Obama had nothing to do what this loser, insane person did, so why tear him down like this? I have to say it's really hateful and tacky to talk about his mother like that. TACKY. Reply...

Your right.... the married drunken  man who converted from catholisism to Islam to Atheism impregnated the kansan in Hawaii she they were attending school, he on a free pass, he left behind a pregnant wife an child only to begin again... I question the imtelligence of a man so smart that he  does not even know enought to keep his paws off other woman when he is married...If this  guy was somehow a hero to Barack then I understand why he is the way he is... Pathetic.. thank you for pointing out my mistake. I must have missed it today when Barack went to Ft Hood to greet those injured, I mean his real job is the Commander in Chief.... he should do his real job and leave the rest to those who pay taxes. If there had been an armed guard there, he may have thought twice about it in the first place, but then when I think about it, he wanted to die, mostly a hero in his God's heaven.  I think it is wonderful that he will more then likely live as a crippled criminal.  The only thing makes me wince is the idea of him living someplace on the tax payer dole out for many years.  It will cost a fortune to house him.  On second thought, maybe he can live awhile and the death penalty is where he out to end up.  Only after having  availability to the words of pain from the famlies of those he killed.  Do I sound vindictive???  U bet and I am not sorry either. It sure made a difference when the female officer arrived....had there been someone armed with the same training he had....who is to say...one thing for sure, it never should have happened. Shame on him, shame on some others too. Darn PC world!!!! Reply...

One of the soldiers in that medical area having a gun wouldn't have really changed anything. I don't think alot of people realize how fast this went down. Ever been to a firing range and watched someone clip of 20 shots so fast that its over before you have a chance to react? And don't forget this guy was trained to handle firearms so was faster than most people at a firing range. Reply...

Carl,  you know I am one of your best fans.

But I don't read your post.  Much too long, and too much old English.

You might have some good things to say, but I wouldn't know, since I don't read it.

I like points short, sweet, and to the point.

Take one thought, and just give us a few words about it.

I think if we took a poll, you would find most of us don't  have time to read that much..

sorry,

vivian

Too many on this post are forgetting:    If one of our soldiers had their own gun !!   this would be a very different story.   No one, not even the drs in the office there had A GUN... It took a civilian lady with a gun to bring him down.

HEAR ME,  A GUN BROUGHT THE BAD GUY DOWN...   A Gun.......

Sneaky, I think that when they hauled Hasan's body off in the ambulance, people assumed he was dead. No doubt there wasn't any movement from him and he was unconscious and covered with blood. Reply...

I agree believers will see the different signs/judgements I believe we will not know the day or hour of his return. I believe Jesus went to great lengths to ensure believers are not caught off guard. I am unsure if we are in the tribulation as spoke about in Gods Word. I think we might have scratched the surface or are in the beginning stages but I do not think we are in the judgement stages….yet. we might have wars and rumors of wars etc but I think we are in for far worse than where we are today. I believe we will know that Christs return will be after the tribulations of those days, “when the dust settles” I believe no man knows the hour or day. “Immediately after” “Those days” he will appear, what does immediately after really mean? Same day, soon after, within a few hours, perhaps in the next couple days? The greek says immediately means : shortly after also its say “those days”so no man could know the day or hour of Christs return if the greek means “shortly after” “those days” I have heard you say that a few times , that because we will see all these things take place we could then know the hour and day of Christs return which would contradict scripture, but if his return is “shortly after” “those days” well then we wouldn’t know the day or hour which is in line with what Jesus said “One will be taken one will be left” is still unclear for me but thanks for the next area to study. I guess I need to find out when or what that really means. Peace

I don't believe the answer is to weed out anyone by race, religion, or gender (and gender is not ALL encompasing).........what needs to be done is to weed out those that are phony soldiers, those that are NOT in it to serve, not in it to do whatever job needs to be done when called to serve.  Weed out the phony soldier, and we would not have had this problem...............it's that simple.

Actually Pain, the theology of the rature is not a new idea...that is a mistake many preterists make. As you study this, I want you to focus on something here. That would be Christ's words to the disciples. Study the Olivet Discourse thouroughly. Study Paul's words as well. Lets think about something here, if in fact there will not be a rapture, a removing of all believers before the tribulation, why would Jesus have gone to such great lengths to ensure the disciples/believers were not caught off guard??? He used parables to help them understand. If there is no rapture, those of us that know the Lord, that study scripture, that have read Revelation, will certainly know that we are in the tribulation...correct? Is there any doubt, believers during the tribulation will recognize the bowl judgements as they are unfolded one after the other...just as John conveyed from his vision Christ gave him? If there is no rapture, believers will know when Jesus returns...at the end of the tribulation...correct? The word rapture is not in the Bible...you are correct, it is derived from the Latin word "rapturo"...that is translated from the Greek "caught up"...from I Thessalonians 4:16-17. If there is no rapture, Paul's words seem to contradict Revelation. Jesus described in detail His second coming...Matthew 24:27-31, read Christ's words..."Immediately after the tribulation"..."then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven and the tribes of the earth will mourn and they will see the Son of Man coming with power and great glory". Now go down the verse 36-44, does Jesus not appear to contradict Himself??? Read how Jesus describes man, they were eating and drinking, marrying and being given in marriage...a stark contrast to verse 27-31. This certainly cannot be the same time...correct? Look at the parable of the 10 virgins, what was Jesus trying to convey? But as you said, this is a complex topic, study with an open heart and ask the Lord for discernment...thanks. Reply...

Have you heard that Hasan participated in Homeland Security Policy Institute's presidential task force transition last year?  Hmmm, I don't know about you, but that brings me no comfort.  Homeland Security?  Would that be the same department headed of by Janet Napolitano?  THEE Janet Napolitano who was responsible for that stupid threat list memo that got leaked awhile back and pi$$ed of the conservatives and veterans groups?  OMG, people!!!  Take a look at who is running our country and WHERE they are running it to.....................something does not add up with this Hasan character.  I also heard that Homeland Security had their eye on HIM for some 6 months prior to the shootings - does any of this make any sense?
