This is one classy lady. I saw her at the NDRA finals, first week of September, and she really cowboyed up. She didn't whine about wearing western clothing. She did the job she signed on for an did it in a really professional manner. Reply...
If your children are going outside of your home seeking a role model, you need to take a good look at yourself. Parents should be a child's role model. Reply...
My daughter's have the best role models to look up to. My wife is their role model. As a father, I also have to take on that role. Too many times parents allow their children to look elsewhere for role models and they put people on pedestals that is really a form of idolatry. There's a place for heroes (Martin Luther King, Abe Lincoln, Oprah, Laura Bush, etc.) You get the idea. We have to take the responsibility and keep it close to home when promoting role models.

And this delay is likely to be followed by more delays and the longer it goes, the worse the reputation of UND becomes and that hurts the whole state of North Dakota. The president of UND does not seem to realize that he is really hurting our state and its reputation. Even if we win the legal case on a technicality, the NCAA can just re-do it but do it in a legal manner next time. And even if the nickname is ruled "legal", the controversy will continue because the controversy will not go away until the racial nickname is eliminated. It is time for our state to just change it so we can all move on! Reply...
Congratulations to one of the nicest most sincere young ladies I know. You are a true inspiration to those who know you! Know that your community and the rest of the State are behind you as you continue bringing your light to the country during the next year. Reply...
What can a person say other than the right young lady won this pageant. Congrats Ashley! You've done your State, your community, your friends, and your family proud! Just know that my daughters noticed this accomplishment and were so happy because they were praying for you, then chearing for you. Now they're pretending they're you. The great things you've done for young people and older folks has just begun. Way to go kiddo!
