Brewster is right in not wanting to waste a spot on the schedule on NDSU. Why would you want to play a team that beats your team up and down the field each time you play them. Brewster should not waste any spots on his schedule on any of the other Big 10 teams either.
I do believe Tyler Roehl is a West Fargo, ND native and he only managed to put up 263 on the gophers.
But thats fine, continue to make excusses for the Bison's victory. You are right...Minnesota is the greatest state in the nation...no, the world. One thing I have come to experience is that a lot of people I meet from Minnesota are a little too in love with their state. They look down on all of the neighboring states (probably the rest of the nation) as if they could never be as great as Minnesota....Please, get over yourself and your state. Reply...

Wow, Peter, do you realize you just said that 500k people are "nothing" because they don't want to live where YOU think they should? I happen to realize that different states have different things to offer. Minnesota does have Minneapolis, but I consider the city an asset because of the activities there, not just because a lot of people live in one spot. It sounds to me like you took a football game a little too seriously and let your comments get out of hand. People everywhere like to follow sports teams because it's supposed to be FUN. I believe everyone was excited about how many people Fargo brought to the Metrodome because it shows that a lot of people traveled very far to be supportive of a sports team, and somehow that got twisted into having something to do with populations?!? You just insulted 4 whole states....over a sporting event. With all good intentions, get counseling, PLEASE. Reply...

Wow, Peter from FARGO, why do you live in North Dakota!!! Move back to you beloved Minnesota!!!! I can't believe you are taking this loss so badly. Give the team a break. They played well and won. They deserve a lot of praise. I could care less if 33 of the players are from Minnesota or tim buck two land, they still obviously pride themselves in playing for NDSU or they wouldn't be there!!! I'm betting that Minnesota doesn't recruit from only Minnesota. How many of the rostered players are from other states?
I'm proud to live and work in North Dakota!!! You can have you big city and the problems associated with it. (Minneapolis) I'm also proud of the 7-0 team from Fargo. (North Dakota)
GO BISON!!!!!!!!!!!! Reply...

Please. To NDSU Fans - So Northwestern Minnesota (I mean NDSU) beat a team in obvious rebuilding mode. Big whoop! Brewster is stuck playing with Mason’s woeful lazy defensive recruits and none of these players are even his. Give him a year or two to get his own guys in there and they will be a much, much better team. Besides, it was basically Minnesota beating Minnesota today anyways (33 players on the NDSU roster are from Minnesota and the rest are probably from somewhere besides North Dakota too) so quit trying to take credit as if it was some how North Dakota who actually accomplished something today. And 20,000 fans is not even close to half the crowd in the Metrodome so quit flattering yourselves.

Finally, Brewster is 100% correct in the comments he made this week and he is right in not wanting to WASTE a spot on his schedule for NDSU, North Dakota, SDSU, South Dakota, etc. He should say it again. It is a no win situation regardless of the outcome and the U of M does not benefit in any way. You rightfully don’t recruit a state of 500K like ND (you could fit the entire state’s population in the southwest Minneapolis suburbs with room to spare) for legit Big Ten players. Again, NDSU’s entire roster is practically made up of Minnesotans (just like the North Dakota hockey team – seems to be a trend here). Basically, what that means is North Dakota can’t accomplish anything on its own without a significant dose of Minnesota’s help along the way (athletically or economically) and that is the plain truth. The only reason to even waste a spot on our schedule with NDSU in the first place is supposed goodwill between the two states, but who cares about goodwill or relationships when you are talking about a state of 500K people! That’s nothing. It is NOT Minnesota’s job to waste our time, energy & resources (athletically & economically) so that inadequate states like North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska can try and feel better about themselves and get over their severe and obvious inferiority complexes when it comes to Minneapolis and Minnesota in general. Quit giving column space to a team like NDSU & a state like North Dakota that doesn’t even deserve it & didn’t earn it on their OWN. Reply...

In Article: Busy Day in College Football
Your headline is disappointingly misleading. You promise info about a busy day in college sports. And limit your report, evidently, to U Mary vs. St.Cloud and Dickinston St. vs. Concordia. Not coincidentally, Jamestown College whipped U of SW Minesota 37 to 6 on Saturday afternoon. Nary a mention on your newscast or in your website report. Jamestown has no local TV service and if the Bismarck and Fargo stations routinely ignore news about our area, what can we do? What would you do if you were in our situation?
Anyone say organize a public protest to present to the FCC when license renewal times comes around? May sem a long time off but come around it will!
I hope you have a more gentlemanly suggestion for a solution. Reply...

OK now are we going to implement a law that says if she is proven to have lied about this that she gets tossed in prison just like they would if they did it? I am not saying she lied, but I remember the Duke LaCrosse incident. Reply...

Is this a surprise? I have lived in ND for nearly 15 years and I recall only a couple times he won.

Maybe it is time for him to retire and get a real job?

Maybe he made enough off this one he can relax and take it easy.
