Theresa..Yes..I read that story n I had to look up alot to make sure the lights wouldnt fall on me..same with Walmart. lol One day I was with my ex husband walking into walmart n I Yelled WATCH OUT!! Falling Prices!!! He just bust out laughing as he got up from ducking! The look on his face n people around was priceless!
Being at work again is a little tough. Its taking me a bit to get back into the swing of things.
Care, I am bringing the olives n gin salsa to work tomorrow. I didnt know what kind of chips would go good with that except for ICE CHIPS lol... I could never eat olives but i loved Gin lol. Rugrat can like they are going out of style. He loves them in French dressing. One of these nites Im inviting my 2 co workers over for shrimp. We went to Red Lobster a few months back n we ate so much of the garlic shrimp scampi, coconut shrimp, i cant remember what other kinds we had.. so Im sure she will really like the sauce.

Well, I finished my big project today. I made a quilt to send to my son in Kosovo. I also wrote a poem and just finished putting it all in a box and it is ready to go to the post office. I so hope he likes it and does not get upset with me. He requested we not send things he has to send or cart home later. I know he will like the quilt but if he has to mail it home in August he will not like that. He is a guy who wants it all simple. He may be right but what is a Mom to do? I wanted to make him something to mark the mission he and the company are on and I could think of no better way then a quilt with his company logo on it. Oh well, what will be will be.
Theresa! STOP it. JUST STOP IT! You are not going to die. It will not be easy but you are tougher then nails girl. I yell at my hubby for saying he is going to die when he has his surgery. (by the way we are still waiting for a date). I think it makes people feel uncomfortable to be with him when he talks like that. I know he does not beleive it but I still don't like it. You have so much to live for, so does my hubby. I tell him that all the time. People care about you!
Well, gotta go get busy. My house is a mess and I have dress rehersal tonight.
later ladies! Reply...

Hello everyone how are you today? I am fine, and thanks for asking! Sorry about going wacko about the smiley’s I think I have talked about it before the flashy thinks give me a big headache; the quiet moving smileys are good and funny. You downloaded them from a program like Marilyn's smileys, if you right click on them they say where they are from. It is some type of photo shop program. Did you pay for them? The free ones carry adware, as you download free smiley’s they ask for permission to download and you say yes. Bam that is where you get it, even with the best security system once you give permission that is all they need.
KO did you read my post to you about my Red Lobster story on page 23, if is just one of my stories, but I think it is funny. I have a sick sense of humor! You sound like you had a good time, it nice you gave us your daily journal, you are funny. My friend on their birthday, start early, Country Kitchen is free on your birthday so that is breakfast. Paradise is free on your birthday, so there for lunch. Up the Creek was free on your birthday also, so that was always dinner. Too much food, that is really no good for anyone, it is just a thing they do. I guess we have to find a new place for dinner.
Care I love the pictures of your house, is that considered a front to back split level? Very nice! The DNR thing, I just don’t want to go on if I have to leak brain fluid out of nose for the rest of your life. It is really hard for me to imagine why I will have a five hour major surgery, and then go home the same day. They say it is to cut costs, unless something goes wrong. It is kind of like the Mayo clinic; I had surgery and went back to the Hotel with a big bandage around my head. I woke up and had blood on my pillow, good thing I always bring my own pillows to hotels that is a germ thing. Hospitals have made so many cuts to save money.
Curly, thanks for asking you are very kind. I do the same thing for people; wait for them if they are having surgery. My silly husband is taking a few days off, really two days off. That Friday is New Years day. I guess I will be on too many drugs to remember it.
When any of you all were younger, did ever think some adult was really weird by what they did. I have turned into that weird adult. When I was a kid there was this lady that lived in Flatbush Brooklyn, she was like the local wacko. We would walk around in the evenings or ride our bikes just so see if we could see her. She had a hood on all the time and was always dressed in a black dress. She would be sitting on a bench in front of her house feeding some of the local pigeons, and squirrels would sit on her lap eating peanuts. We thought she was a total wack job, I am sorry for all the all cruel things I yelled at her with my friends. She had a big fence around her house; it was just something we did as kids in Brooklyn. Today I know she had to be Muslim wearing a Burka, I never knew anything about that stuff until I went into the military. Well anyway back to me, I feed my silly birds every day. I have three big pine trees in front of my house, and have three bird feeders attached to them. Every day I fill up the bird feeders and wait for my Cardinal. He is so pretty, and sooner or later he shows up, I watch out of my window for him. And then there are the turkeys, they come right up to my hand for a peanut. I have become a crazy person. I talked about my bats a long time ago; I always check and make sure their nests are still there, I love my bats. Time for Theresa to get a life!
Oh Curly, we have a ton of apples in our freezer at the soup kitchen, but thanks anyway. Now if you ever want to drop by some type of apple bars at the soup Kitchen, we will take those. People love sweets. We are having a soup kitchen on Christmas Eve. If you ever want to make anything, we can put it in our freezer. We want to have a nice soup kitchen that day that will be my last because I will be dead the following week. J
Shoppe, oh no I am not mad at you (by you, I mean everyone)? I was just asking if you ever get tired of people calling you names, I am glad Marilyn is back, I just don’t like when people have to start calling names.
Well enough for today, I love you all so much,
Parting shot for Shoppe

I think I have been living in North Dakota too long, this guy looks normal to me.
Have a nice day.

I love skulls n hearts! So Im back!! I so did not want to get up this morning! Rugrat woke up at 306 and again at 430. I got used to going to bed late and sleeping in til whenever real quick! I think this was one of the best weekends ever well my bday weekend lol
Wed we went to Red lobster after I got off work. I had the grilled shrimp scampi and crab legs with mashed potatos n ceasar salad. My husband had something other than a hamburger or chicken strips!! I was so excited! He had TWO salmons n fries!! We went shopping for a lil bit after that n had to trek home. Mom had rugrat so we had to pick him up.
Thurs we went to Mom's. My sister made ribs and Mom got me a banana split ice cream cake... MMM MMMM!! I beat mom in Dice n she beat me too. Did some laundry too
Friday, My husband and I went to Minot to get a few things done but the most important thing at that time for me was my license renewal. I passed. YAY! Came home n did some laundry before picking up rugrat from daycare. Took Rugrat to the Dickens Festival. He didnt want to walk around n the bus was full. He was so sad! n He didnt want to ride on the horse drawn buggy.
Saturday, Mom, rugrat n I went to Minot did some shopping at the mall, Target, went to Paradiso's n got my free bday dinner (mm Carne Asada!!!) then we went to Walmart. We said yes..a quick trip up n back..we should be home by 3..Nope! got back at a lil after 6. My cousin n I planned on going out for a while n she said she will have her son sit for me (he owed me a nite of sitting too) He stayed in his town n she came into my town. she was NOT happy. but we got him in my town n he watched rugrat. The band sucked so we played pool for awhile. The crazy thing was..we were both tired...slurring like crazy but neither of us was drinking. She had water n Sprite n I had Mtn Dew lol. My husband met up with us at 1230.
Sun we went to Minot. Neighbor watched rugrat n took him down to Dickens Festival again. We went to New Moon. I havent decided Team Edward or Jacob. Do i want a man thats built like crazy, tattoos n runs around shirtless?? or Do I want a man made of Diamonds because they are a girls best friend?? We went to eat at the mall again too n went back to Walmart n home.
Mon I cleaned house..for the most part. Tonite we are going to put up the tree.
N Guys, you gotta try that Tamari Sauce Care sent me!!! OMG Is that GOOD!!! Reply...

ROMNEY 2012 !! Haha... just kidding Care.
I agree with Care, we all like each other here genuinely I feel. We laugh together, cry together... its Great.
Care, your home is so beautiful. I have owned 5 different homes, but right now we rent. Who knows for how long. I took a picture out of our loghome builders catalogue . Its small and perfect, more like a cottage. I keep it near to my heart and still hope to build it someday. Its perfect.
Snow... luckypup.... Today is cold, just cold.. Bob left again for wilmington to work a week or two ... Our son has plenty of work right now, and I pray to God it stays that way.
My son in law couldn't start his car this morn (too cold?), so he took my daughters car, which meant I had to take her 20 miles to work, and pick her up later... so those of you who pray, pray the car runs tomorrow..
All is fine in Concord, I am having a good day off.
Theresa, thanks for that very nice message on FB. I will respond later.

Why I like our thread
BY:
care29
I like our room because we geuinely care for onea nother. There are no digs at political views...we just stay away from politcal everything. There are plenty of threads we can discuss plenty of all that elsewhere. Here is just, hey how are you? Isn't that what makes it so special? We share our day to day lives. Over the course of the year I have gotten to know a few you. Enough that we also meet on facebook and share more there. We show each other respect. We ask, we listen, we advise, we care. Reply...

Take a mental stroll between the vehicles...towards the woods...When you reach the treeline...bear right into path towards airport. My itty bitty backyard municipal airport. That we love. I'll try to scan a new picture...new to you old to me..

Theresa, I think the picture says it all. I was amazed at the last two pictures of the large gals...do they not have a mirror?? I like your pictures from Walmart. They always make me smile.
No you do not need tickets for our show. I think you will like it if you can come. I will be sitting right in front of the director so you will know who I am and at the very end I stand up on the risers on the stage to sing the finale. That is all the parts I had this year and that is good. I have been gone too much to have larger part. If you do come, find me after it is over. I would love to meet you.
I know you are very nervous about the surgery. I am remebering you in my prayers. Do you have someone to be there with you before and after? I would do that if you don't. Just let me know. My email is dabel2@min.midco.net By the way, would you like some apples for your soup kitchen. Would be good for pies or bars or cake.... I have many and they will not keep much longer.
Yes, I agree sometimes things get mixed up and what you said is turned into something bad. It is too much like politics for me sometimes. Some folks are always looking for some way to jump on somebody. Please ignore what they say. You are a good hearted person and we all know it and it is the loss of the ignorant if you ask me. I also think the negative people get way more attention then they deserve. We need to acknowledge them less and ignore them more.
Care, did you have a sleepless night too. I woke at 2:00 am and never slept after that. In fact I took a bath at about 5:00 am and just laid there and rested. I am freezing lately and can't seem to get warm.
Well, just got home from church and need to get busy. I am finishing the quilt I made for our son. Need to get it in the mail. I also plan to make some soup today. Have some food I need to use up and soup is a great way to clean out my fridge.
later ladies!

Hi everyone how are you today? I am fine thanks for asking! Not much happening lately, we need to have a new water heater, the one downstairs is leaking. I had someone look at it, and he declared it dead. So tomorrow starts the hunt for a plumber to put in a new water heater! Does anyone know anything about water heaters, what is the big difference between Tankless and a tank water heater? I know if we buy it by Dec 30th we can claim up to $1500.00 off our taxes. Care did you save all the recites for your new windows, they are all tax deductable?
Curly I watched the clip on the noon show, it looks nice. Do you need tickets like the Singing Christmas tree? I like to go see that every year, I miss New York at Christmas. I am having that surgery on the 30th of December, and I really don’t want to fly this year, just don’t feel up to it. I am so depressed about his surgery. I am going to sign a DNR order, in case the poke my brain and I start bleeding to death.
KO I am sorry I forgot your birthday, I was instant messaging you from a tire dealership. I was putting better tires on our focus, and they called my name. Happy late birthday, I am going to send you an E-card so don’t spam it.
Shoppe, do the Forums just ever mentally drain you? I say something then it gets all twisted around, then you have someone calling names. I never say anything bad about anyone and it hurts. I do get mad when people say something silly, and I say somthing about that. Sometime I just want to say why do I do this, and walk away forever. I do like this forum it is nice to see how everyone’s life is going. Do you get snow in North Carolina Shoppe?
Has anyone you ever lived in Minot. SRT has this huge list of people they owe money to. There has to be four thousand names, E mail me is you want me to check the list for you theresamcewen@aol.com
Care that lobster gram stuff looks great. I used to order fresh Maine lobster for Christmas from Mainelylobster.com, it no longer exists. It had great lobsters, still alive in the box. What is the Shelby getting for Christmas?
See you later,
Shoppe for you

I don't know what to say about this one!
Theresa
