Hate to admitt this (even to myself) but seeing the snow in your pctures makes me lonesome for home.  Yikes!!  I know it is only because we are pretty much here and not getting out much.  He can't stand to sit much so even over to my aunts house is torchure.   Oh well, gonna go out and so yard work today.  That should make me feel better.  I know it is also that i am not satisfying my emothions with food.  That is a big part of it.  I am telling you guys all this cause I don't want to tell anyone else who will worry about me.  I am really fine, I am coping but not without effort.  Have to learn how to deal with emothions some day.  Might just as well be this day, right?  Will check in     Later!

Hi Ladies.  Yes, care... great game.

Today is the kids  100th day, so they need to try and dress very old... So the 6 yr old went in his flannel shirt, highwater jeans and put a bit of white flour in his very dark black hair.   Cute.

My parents and several sisters (and families) are without power.  Ohio and Pennsylvania got 12 inches of heavy snow, so so many are without electricity.

We are fine in NC, just got alot of rain, nothing else.

All is well, today is my son JASONS  33 birthday.  Hard to believe.  He was the easiest of the 3 kids.  I think it was 5 hrs from    first contraction till I held him.   Such a sweetheart.

Hope you are all well.

Care, hope your job works out....

Theresa, hey girl.

Si ko.. Curly.... big hey.. :)

Where is sneakycat lately?

we are already doing too much.  Why is it us in flyover country, us pions that have to do it all, while  Queen Nancy and the polititians continue to do as they please on our dime?

Why? .... I quit..... I am going to go gas up my plane right now and fly....

I  think we should do what we can to save our planet within reason.  I think cap and trade will do more damage in other areas.  Wrong is wrong.  There is no way America can do this alone.  As long as other nations are spewing polution and doing nothing about it, it is futile.

Nancy seems to think it is okay to fly all over the place with all the jet fuel she wants.  When she and Algore start worrying about curtailing themselves and what they waste the rest of us will take it more seriously.

I do what I can.  I drive little, I recycle all I can and don't eat many beans.  What more can a girl do?

Care, sorry to hear your job is in jeopardy.  I am so thankful I no longer am in business.  It is pretty scary right now.  Although Minot and ND seem to be doing pretty well.  I am still glad I don't have to do that any more.  I do miss my customers though.  I think small business is the engine that drives our economy for jobs and there is just nothing to help them.  From experience I know that by the time you pay all the unemployment, workmans comp, match social security, very few dollars are left.  Hope your company can stick it out.

No news here either.  I tried to sew yesterday but made one mistake after another so I gave up.  Watched an old western on tv.  Silverado.  I have seen it several times before but is always good one.  I like westerns.

Oh wait there is OTHER NEWS......

I met Shayne's new man.....he seems nice. A bit quiet...I am sure that will change. LOL!

Work, the company is going to hell in a hand basket. I hope we can weather this storm. it is quite scary though.  I have been with these guys since 2000.......scary to think that we could very well go under. Our products are good, our cients are good. It is just that the cash has dried up...vendors calling for payments.....we are so very behind.....shut off notices left and right. I know we dont political here on this thread...but today....all I can think about is SMALL BUSINESS.....we need a bailout pronto!!!!!!!!!!!!

Outside of that......all is well.

Again ladies, have a good day!!!!

In Article: New Town schools forcing all kids to learn Hidatsa

I love how people are commenting about how no one will ever use this language beyond the reservation, but where the heck are you going to use German and French? Spanish might be useful, but the other two? Not so much. Also, it's an AMERICAN language that they are teaching, and AMERICAN Indians have every right to have their languages taught as any other. Children who do not have English as a first language are forced to learn it so that they can go to school, at least if other children know the language, even a little bit, transition will be easier for them. This way, more people will feel comfortable teaching kids Hidatsa or Arikara or Dakota and such if they know that they will be able to succeed in school. If tribes do not have a language, they will lose their sovereignty, but more importantly, they will lose their culture. Everywhere around you, you'll see traces of European culture, but what about us? We need at least SOMETHING to remind us that we exist and are native and are human too.

Climate Change in the American Mind:Public Support for Climate & Energy Policies in January 2010

Another bull excreta term for Cap and Trade.  These pollsters are not even capable of telling people the truth.

The Global warmongers can't even call it "global warming" anymore so now it's "climate change", these liberals try to have it every which way.
