First of all it matters not what whether or not my family has or has not served. Secondly my father died when I was 12 (3 days after my birthday during my birthday party) after complications of wounds he had sustained in Korea and Vietnam. He was bed ridden since I was 9 or 10. Two close friends of mine have died in service during the War on Terrorism Travis Van Zoest (IED in Afghanistan) and Tony Monroe (Iraq from shrapnel during a rocket attack). So don't you ****ing dare try to tell me what to say and what not say you, fascist piece of ****. You sit here talking about how the Jews are hypocrites. When you claim to be a proud veteran of the US, you are trying to suppress opinion. That is the biggest crock of horse**** hypocrisy, ever heard on this board...Ever hear of the 1st Amendment? Something you were sworn to protect? Have you?
I have put this challenge up once before and I will do it again. If you can get me a medical clearance I will join.
Furthermore it is more than cheap oil. If Iraq had been about the oil where is it now? How come no US oil companies got any production rights in Iraq? It is about the principal here. Israel not only is a stabilizing force in the region it is an allie. Not because they are the "choosen ones" but because they are a legit democracy.
On top of all that abortion has nothing to do with the problems in the middle east.... Reply...
Here is the response to the challenge of my post: Human Life International, a prolife organization, stated around the year 2000, that Israel had an high abortion rate.
After googling "abortion in Israel" I am providing the following (sad) statistics on the abortions performed in Israel:
According to www.johnstonarchive.net >policy, >abortion, >israel
Year & abortions performed in Israel that year:
2000: 19,405
2001: 20,332
2002: 19,796
2003: 20,800
2004: 20,378
2005: 19,928
2006: 19,832
2007: 19,544
Abortion is legal according to Israel law. Those are the facts, try googling "abortion in Israel" if you want other sources.
As far as high fuel prices where to occur, if Iran launches a nuke(s), what price are we paying today for oil??? We are in the Middle East in Iraq and what is that costing the taxpayers? ( Billions!) Tack that unto the price of gas and see the TRUE cost of a gallon of fuel.
Now then tack the price of US military's members blood spilled to obtain "cheap" Middle Eastern Oil. Have any of your family members SPILLED their blood to get "cheap" oil???
Its so easy to send other people to war for your cause. Did your family members sign up for boot camp and deployments to the Middle East yet???
You want to protect Israel and have cheap gas, send YOUR family members overseas to spill their blood.

You know why people hated Bush.. because he was successful.... He took all the abuse from the Clintonites for 8 years and did a good job... The President had to deal with a whole bunch of Democrats in Congress but got things done in a bipartisan way... whether you like it or not... I LOVED GW and I do miss him... but I bet he doesn't miss the all the BS he had to put up with..... If Bush was such a loser ask your parents if they like their Medicare Part D and to think of GW.... Actually Bush didn't take out Saddam when he had the chance...Desert Storm....and I don't remember anybody blaming 911 on Bush for having left Saddam alone when we had over 500,000 troops over there at the time. Reply...

Marilyn, I have spent money on therapy to find my void. Been to Overeaters ann. I have counseled with my dear pastor. Prayed and prayed about this. I am sadly addicted to food and the comfort it gives me. I know my triggers and some days I can control it and some days it controls me. I like you have very few things around that are trigger foods. I had some licorice and that was all it took and I was off to the races. Now today I am fine. Just walked for my hour and am feeling fine. Hubby is doing a little better today too. He is taking a little more pain meds to try to keep it under control till doc calls us back on thursday morn. All things working better today. Now I am going to go do a little house maintanence. I think we are going to make beer butt chicken tonight. We love it. Have any of you made it??? Reply...

Theresa, I think the Buzz-Obama thing is something about how he kinda thinks he IS Buzz and will get the job done. I thought it was cute cuz he was in Buzz's outfit. Wonder what Buzz wore that day? Curly, I understand the eating thing. I try not to keep things here that I really like, except for dark chocolate. I always have that here. I'm an emotional eater too......they say we're filling a void in our life with food. What is our void? That's what we need to admit to and then do something about it in a different way that won't lead to weight gain! We have tons of snow. I hope it's done, no wait....I want MORE! I l love snow, always have! Fox just said NYC and Philly will be getting up to 18" and Chicago O'Hare has cancelled over 500 flights! I have a toothache and my eyes hurt. My dentist retired last summer so I have to find a new one. I don't like the new fangled ones. The one I had was so relaxing to go to. His wood floors creaked and it didn't feel like a dental office. He had a receptionist, and no techs to speak of. Just him. Very relaxing and I didn't mind going in there. Then there's the other dental office I used to go to here. Very business like, techs all over the place, two receptionists. Too medical for me and I hate going there. What do I do? My molar hurts...my eyes hurt and now my neck hurts. ARGH!! Reply...

Hello everyone, how are you today? I am swell thanks, for asking! Nothing much is happening here today, or yesterday. I brought one of my Scotties to get groomed, I have two so they take turns each month so each dog gets groomed every weeks.
Curly I can understand missing this place, I love going home to New York. After a week of eating too much good stuff, and see how many cops got shot the night before. Not to mention the traffic, it is glad to come back to all the nice people of Minot. I went and got four military flat rate boxes form the post office and I will fill them up and hopefully send them off by Friday. Are there women in the Guard at Kosovo also? I am going to put a note on the box, and ask him to give the boxes away to people that get much from home. I am going to pack cookies, gum, soft wipes, a nice hand lotion from bath and body works, hand sanitizer, lip balm, and whatever else will fit in the box. I will write a little note to let them know they are in my prayers. Curly go buy yourself a Wii game system, it has a karaoke game, and a exercise dance game. It makes me laugh, I love to laugh at myself, and I am so funny.
Shoppe, are you getting snow again. Good thing I didn’t move to North Carolina with all that snow. Really we were considering moving to North Carolina when we retired from the Air Force, our children have moved so many times in their life. Changing schools is difficult, especially with Christopher and his Aspergers Autism. He was in a groove here, highest honor student and he had friends. Friends were something he never really had. So we stayed in Minot. My husband wanted to get his Masters and this as good a place as any. I used to love the 100th day of school; the kids always had to bring 100 of something. One teacher was really creative and told the children one hundred of one thing that they can mix together to make a trail mix. I think PA is going to get another storm this weekend. What kind of sport does your son in law coach? I saw Avatar over the weekend again, I like that movie, but that was the last time.
Care, Hay what up girly, girl! Did someone in the Forum make you mad, you tell me, I have some geodes (Italian hit men) that can break their legs? I hope your job is Okay, pretty scary I know.
KO Sunday was a pretty dull day, and this Saturday is I don’t know what is happing for Valentine’s Day. Maybe if I can find a Valentine, I will give him a whirl.
I asked Sick-O yesterday, whatever happened to the moderator for the forums. It is funny how people can slam Jews, but if someone said something about a Native, or a black person, the wheels of hell would roar. I try to ignore them.
Marilyn you have lots of snow also. I still don’t get the Buzz Obama joke.
Shoppe for you,

This guy looks happy, I would give him a big hug!

Curly... I had no idea. I thought they would charge for the box and then charge to send, so I told them I would be back Wednesday..... duh.. I should have asked. Anyway, now I know.
Doesn't walking just make you feel so good.. I absolutely love it... as long as its not too cold, not uphill, my shoes are comfy, I have my sunglasses, there aren't too many pebbles, no dogs chasing me, have my music with me, IF I have all that curly, I can walk just fine.... LOL
When my husband spent that year suffering excrusiating pain from his disc in his back I suffered almost as much as him just watching. I felt so helpless to do anything.. So I know what you and your husband are going thru.
I would say if he takes the pain meds and sleep... then Praise God! Let him get that relief at least. Good idea.
My husband isn't one to take pain medication so it was so hard to get him to take anything. But when he did , it helped. Also his cortasone shots in his back helped.
If he is careful and doesn't lift things too heavy he is at the point where he doesn't have any pain. But one wrong move and it could happen again. He got thru without any surgury this time Curly.

Hello all of you special ladies who listen to me whine!:)
Actually today I am going to go out and walk. Has dried up enough I can do some walking. Love that. I put some great music on my mp3 and walk about a hour. Yesterday, I washed the car and finished up all my valentines. I did not get out my Christmas cards so I sent Valentines instead. If you remember our grandson got very sick over Christmas in Fargo and I missed the card thing. Will mail them all today.
I am doing better I think. Hubby is still in terrible pain but we called the doc and he said for now go back to the pain meds and he gave him a refill. He thinks in time it will heal but till that time passes.... He sleeps alot on the pain meds but that is okay. Doc will call back on Thursday. I have a hard time with watching him suffer so much pain.
I had a bad diet day yesterday. Ate too much and moved too little. Today is a new day. I had a little sugar and that is all it takes to get me going. I just have to leave that stuff alone.
Care, I am glad you are busy at work. It makes the days pass faster doesn't it?? I want to go see that movie as well. Might just do that this afternoon for the matinee. Lots cheaper. I will smuggle in some ff pop corn and buy a soda. You know, I have to have some fun. :) I saw Sandra Bullock on Letterman last night. I really like her and always have. I also saw her one time in the Dallas airport once and she looked like heck. She had on glasses and a baseball cap. I spose she was trying to get lost in the crowd. However, she had a crowd of people with her so that drew attention. We can all do a movie reveiw later.
Shoppe, the box is free. It is the sending it that costs.
Thank you again for your support and kindness!

I want to see Dear John also. Matter of fact there are alot I haven't seen the last couple months. I will be going alone. Sitting in a full theater eating popcorn.... oh well.
My daughters husband is a coach and has games or practice everynight.. so she can't go with me, and must stay with her two precious boys...
So I will go alone, no big deal, its only 3 miles away at the Concord Mills Mall, on Bruton Smith (formerly speedway blvd) blvd..... Do you think we like NASCAR here?
Its another very dreary day, getting ready to rain. Just glanced out the door and the rain is here already....
My son in laws car won't start so I lent him my van, and now I have no wheels. I like the freedom to get out and go places, so I don't like being stuck at home...
Theresa~~sister from a different Mom.. How are you today?
Si Ko.. I will let you know once the pic gets here.. thanks in advance..
Curly, how is hubby feeling? (post office says it has special APO packages) I will buy one on payday, tomorrow and fill it plum full. :)
Hope all you Ladies are doing great and remember God loves you!

I thought I posted yesterday but I guess not. We have been pretty busy at work. Today two of our top "star" reps are out of the office so its going to be a busy day. I usually take 60-70 ... they take 100-120 a day. I must just get those calls that take forever lol or maybe im just too thorough. I dunno.
Viv, I will get your pic out tomorrow. I gotta mail some out to my husband's aunt too. Shes been asking for some.
Theresa..sunday was too icky to travel so we didnt go anywhere but home. Mom n I are planning to go to Dear John on Monday. I was goin to visit you on Sunday but then my husband reminded me..its Valentines Day! What should I get my husband now? I still gotta get my sister a present. Reply...
Rugby, you really dont get it, do you.. Reply...
Saddam's Iraq did not attack US. The Bush administration misled US about Iraq's intentions and capabilities, which led US to unnecessarily initiate an unprovoked attack against Iraq, resulting in the deaths of countless thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens, as well as the needless deaths and injuries to thousands of American military personnel. Reply...
No matter what Bush would have done, the sorts of the rugby's would have called it wrong. If he would have went after Saudi Arabia, which the liberals have always said was instrumental in 9-11, rugby would have said it wrong. If he only went after Afghanistan, rugby and the Democrat party would have went against everything Bush would have done there, and again stated it as a quagmire. And if Bush had done nothing, but only stated the most severe of "condemnations" against terrorists, they would have called him "chicken". But now we only have the "chickens" howling because they were called to "serve"..... Reply...
Yes D. Thats exactly what they would be saying if Bush hadn't gotten Saddam.
Also we would have been attacked again I believe. Just like we are starting to be attacked now ( WINTER HOLIDAY BOMBER)... Reply...
