Yes I remember that incident in Arkansas. Another muslim angry at our soldiers for fighting a war against evil. I wonder why they even stay in the USA. Why don't they go back to their country and fight by the sides of their Islamic terrorist brothers? They'd rather do the dishonorable thing and be sneaky about it...and cold-**** someone, so to speak...don't give them a chance to fight for their life.Cowards all of them. Hide behind women and children and kill unarmed soldiers. Cowards... Reply...

Curly, maybe the military will change their rules now and have armed guards at these places. Don't worry, I doubt this man will live to be an old person in prison...unless he's kept in solitary forever. Reply...

If there had been an armed guard there, he may have thought twice about it in the first place, but then when I think about it, he wanted to die, mostly a hero in his God's heaven.  I think it is wonderful that he will more then likely live as a crippled criminal.  The only thing makes me wince is the idea of him living someplace on the tax payer dole out for many years.  It will cost a fortune to house him.  On second thought, maybe he can live awhile and the death penalty is where he out to end up.  Only after having  availability to the words of pain from the famlies of those he killed.  Do I sound vindictive???  U bet and I am not sorry either. It sure made a difference when the female officer arrived....had there been someone armed with the same training he had....who is to say...one thing for sure, it never should have happened. Shame on him, shame on some others too. Darn PC world!!!! Reply...

Thank you for that link Jose`. I don't believe I heard of that story until just now. My opinion or input for you Marilyn, is he is a terrorist.  he went on a rampage killing over a dozen people and attempted to kill over 30 more...TERROR!  He did it while hollering Allah whatever...(minor brain cramp, can't remember the complete phrase), so I would say Islamic terrorist or Muslim terrorist...either way he is a terrorist. I am completely baffled at what has come out in this case so far.  From everything I have heard so far,  Political Correctness played a part....  FBI was aware, military was aware of a problem....but nobody called him out on it...why? he got himself an attorney to help him not be deployed????? WTF????  Why did the military hang on to him, or why did they allow him to counsel others...soldiers returning from war...he counseled and now it is being reported he ARGUED with them.....Yet, he was still allowed to practice. I would also say that there enough blood for a lot of hands. Reply...

I suppose that would be true, if you don't count this incident:

When we talk about Iraq or Afghanistan, the religious component of the wars fought there is inseparable from any relavant discussion.  It would be foolish to try and ignore Nidal Hasan's religous faith.

The trouble, I feel, is if you then go beyond this individual......and try to make a broader comment about the faith in which he believes.

Restating: one is about Nidal Hasan's relationship to Islam.....and the other is about Islam itself.

Actually I would like to see him given over to the decent Muslims for punishment.  I would like the world to watch as they do to him what they do best, maybe a nice beheading or something similar.   Maybe a bit of waterboarding first.

I'm thinking you're correct Jose', but you know some people here are going to jump all over us about being racist just because he was a muslim. I'm wondering if some people aren't blind to reality. There's good muslims and bad muslims, and I think he was one of the bad ones. He makes it rough for all the good ones trying to make it in the world. He has disgraced his people. Reply...

One of the soldiers in that medical area having a gun wouldn't have really changed anything. I don't think alot of people realize how fast this went down. Ever been to a firing range and watched someone clip of 20 shots so fast that its over before you have a chance to react? And don't forget this guy was trained to handle firearms so was faster than most people at a firing range. Reply...

Too many on this post are forgetting:    If one of our soldiers had their own gun !!   this would be a very different story.   No one, not even the drs in the office there had A GUN... It took a civilian lady with a gun to bring him down.

HEAR ME,  A GUN BROUGHT THE BAD GUY DOWN...   A Gun.......

In Article: Biblical Prophecy-Signs of the Times

I agree believers will see the different signs/judgements I believe we will not know the day or hour of his return. I believe Jesus went to great lengths to ensure believers are not caught off guard. I am unsure if we are in the tribulation as spoke about in Gods Word. I think we might have scratched the surface or are in the beginning stages but I do not think we are in the judgement stages….yet. we might have wars and rumors of wars etc but I think we are in for far worse than where we are today. I believe we will know that Christs return will be after the tribulations of those days, “when the dust settles” I believe no man knows the hour or day. “Immediately after” “Those days” he will appear, what does immediately after really mean? Same day, soon after, within a few hours, perhaps in the next couple days? The greek says immediately means : shortly after also its say “those days”so no man could know the day or hour of Christs return if the greek means “shortly after” “those days” I have heard you say that a few times , that because we will see all these things take place we could then know the hour and day of Christs return which would contradict scripture, but if his return is “shortly after” “those days” well then we wouldn’t know the day or hour which is in line with what Jesus said “One will be taken one will be left” is still unclear for me but thanks for the next area to study. I guess I need to find out when or what that really means. Peace

I don't believe the answer is to weed out anyone by race, religion, or gender (and gender is not ALL encompasing).........what needs to be done is to weed out those that are phony soldiers, those that are NOT in it to serve, not in it to do whatever job needs to be done when called to serve.  Weed out the phony soldier, and we would not have had this problem...............it's that simple.
