In Article: Biblical Prophecy-Signs of the Times

shopp, would you consider that about 90% of the church believes in the rapture?

As I though about your statement shopp I wondered is the rapture stuff scriptural. That started me thinking and it now has launched me into studying end time prophecy. Sofar after 2 hrs  I believe that this rapture is yet another false doctrine being taught.

Obviously it will take some time to research and study both sides as it is a deep subject pertaining to The Lords Return. I found out that Blm is correct in that the rapture is a fairly new teaching. I also know the word rapture is not found in the bible.......These two facts alone makes me question the validity of this teaching.

Have a good night.

Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly Curly. I use the squeeze bottle, which to me works better than the Neti Pot. I have two...this one...

You pour one of the included packets of salt solution into the empty bottle, then fill it with warm bottled water or distilled water. It does wonders for my sinus's, which have always given me problems since I've been in Minnesota and it's great for preventing flu's since it flushes out all the germs that are nestling in your sinus's. I bought two so that I always have one at home and then one to take on the road. Some doctor on tv said that the H1N1 virus sits in your nasal membranes up to 3 days before it moves into your system, so flushing out your nose every day can help prevent the flu. Reply...

Well, I worked at the big one craft show.  I felt like crap.  I wish I could have stayed home.  I know what I have is not contagious or I would have.  I stopped at medical arts conveinient care clinic and got some anti biotics.  I have a massive sinus infection.  I have a slight temp from it and can't breath thru my nose at all.  She said I should do some hot packs on my face to help loosen up the gunk in there.

Has anyone heard of a netty pot????  She suggested I get one.  Never heard of it.  I am going to try some nasel spray.  Just the saline one.

Oh gosh, what a day I have had.

Oh, and by the way, all three grandkids are sick in Fargo again.  I feel so bad for them and my daughter in law.  She has her hands full that is for sure.

Things have to look up for those little ones pretty soon.  I am going to put a picture of them in my profile in their Halloween costumes.  They all felt pretty good that day.

In Article: New Town schools forcing all kids to learn Hidatsa

Why do we keep bringing up the racial issue.  This is a problem with the school and it's lack of options, not some issue over who was here first.  Stick to the topic, please!

But since you bring it up, I have often wondered how people feel about this.

Say you own a plot of land, you are down on your luck so you decide to sell the plot to Mr. John Doe.  Mr. Doe brings cash and it is considered paid in full.  - - - - - - -20 years go by - - - - - - - - Land values go up with time and you regret selling your land.  Can you go and track down Mr. Doe and try to get more money for the land you sold to him all those years ago?  No, you can't.

Even better say you were the person buying the land, how would you feel if the former owner, who you have already paid, tracked you down and demanded that you pay for the land again and again?

I know the land under the lake is getting paid for over and over, but the thing nobody talks about here, is the FACT that there was non-natives that owned land that is under the lake.  No matter if you like it or not, they paid for their land too.  It wasn't them took the Indian's land.  The government made these deals with the Indians.  A lot of times, they drew up shady deals to aquire it.  But the fact is the land was then sold to people that actually worked hard to buy it from them. These people have never had any reimbursement for their land.  Every time I hear the same old argument of how the tribes land was lost when the lake was formed, I think what about the rest of the people that had land that was flooded there.

Now I tend to avoid these arguments as I live in the heart of the reservation, but when I run into narrow minded people on either side of the argument, something needs to be said.

This post is a school issue as far as I can tell, lets keep it as that.   As long as the school is considering itself a PUBLIC school, getting tax money from the US Govt. to operate, then it would be very wrong to ask that non-natives to move away.  Are you stuck in the 50's?  Maybe you miss the days of segregation?  Until we do away with all these negative viewpoints, will we ever getting beyond the race issues.

You didn't say you were only referring to his political career, and doesn't sexual harassment show what kind of a person you are?

I have never heard of  Roux. When I make chicken soup, I just use chicken meat, chicken stock, sliced celery, chopped onions, sliced carrots, and the really thin, thin noodles, plus seasonings. At the end, always toss in a couple tablespoons of parsley, for added flavor and to look pretty! It's wonderful and is so good for you!

So what's your point with the first paragraph? And with the second one, if he really did sexually harass someone, then shame on him.  Alot of  male politicians do this. If my own son did this I would not support him. Reply...

Couple of interesting tidbits about Dick

former Vice President Dick Cheney told Armey that Saddam Hussein's family had direct ties to Al-Qaeda and that Saddam was developing miniature nuclear weapons. Armey then voted for the Iraq War, but after it became clear this was not true, stated that he "deserves better than to be bull****ted by the Vice President."

Several of his former female economics students went public with stories of his sexually harassing them — harassment allegedly so severe that at least one student transferred to another school. He would later divorce his wife and marry one of his students. Reply...

No problem SG, just remember the "forgive them Father..." verse...

Dick Armey was a horseman, probably still is. Raised in a large family of seven kids, he's older than me by several  years, so I really looked up to him. He's got a genuinely good heart and is a patriot. I have never followed him in politics, but the Dickie I knew was honest, hard working and geniune. A man's man, he tends to say what he thinks and if you don't like it, so be it.  I prefer that over the phonies because you always know where you stand with Dick Armey. His youngest sister is a year younger than me,  teaches at a college and is a super person as well. Her and I hung out all the time, plus showed  horses together. Now she's a biker babe! You should see the bike she rides! The Armey family is a huge part of my growing up. Reply...

Rye, what politician doesn't like to hear himself talk? Of course I love Dick Armey. I've known him all my life. I spent most of my childhood in their home, as opposed to my own home...so yes, he's like family. I don't stop loving someone just because they say or do something you don't like. Thats not how it works. They're not perfect. There is not a single politician anywhere that hasn't ticked someone off, said something wrong, done something wrong, made a wrong decision or maybe been tempted to do something unethical. NONE.
